Downtown Events Parking
Heading downtown for a concert, game, or other special event? We offer ample parking in municipal lots near Slush Puppie Place, Springer Market Square and other downtown venues.
Event parking rates
Parking costs increase in municipal lots as you get closer to Slush Puppie Place during events. Signage with event parking rates, instructions and rules is displayed before and during scheduled events.
- $7 flat rate – Barrack Street Lot, Frontenac Lot
- $6 flat rate – Angrove Lot, Anglin Lot
- $5 flat rate – Springer Lot, Upper and Lower Robert Bruce Lots
- $4 flat rate – Chown and Hanson parking garages (Check availability at Chown and Hanson garages)
Early payment for an evening event can be made after 2:30 p.m. (earlier in some lots). Please refer to the signage in each lot for details. Payment for event parking is not required on Sundays.

On-street parking
On-street parking offers convenient first-come, first–serve short-term parking options in urban areas. We do not accept reservations.
Maximum parking time varies from two to three hours. If you need to stay longer, use a Parking Lot or Garage.
Take Kingston Transit
Take Kingston Transit from a Park & Ride to a downtown transfer point, then walk about eight minutes to Slush Puppie Place.
