Strategic Priorities

Your Mayor and Council have approved a strategic plan for the City of Kingston for 2023-2026, outlining the city's key priorities and goals for this period.

Our Council has set up some important rules to make our city stronger. These rules focus on making our city better at what it does, managing money well, treating everyone fairly, and working together with the community. These rules help us be ready for the future and make Kingston better for everyone who lives here.

The City of Kingston acknowledges that we are on the traditional homeland of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and the Huron-Wendat, and thanks these nations for their care and stewardship over this shared land.

Today, the City is committed to working with Indigenous peoples and all residents to pursue a united path of reconciliation.
